The tus' people in Huzhu County, Qinghai Province, believe in multi-gods. every year, they will have some offering sacrifice in temples. A 'bo' is invited to add to funs. A bobo meeting includes: setting up flags, dancing wizard, evocation, putting down flags and divination. The heat of the meeting is on the end day. The heat of the meeting is on the end day. All the
offerings will be taken to a square, burning joss sticks, lighting lights
and kotow. The head rabbi leads others to dance. The activity lasts two
or three hours. The head rabbi will make envocation from a boy by ticking
off a little bottle; and so every boy will be decorated with a red bag
to protect the boy, in which are garlic, colorful food and cloth.When
putting down flags, the people will hurry to get steamed breads, the one
who gets it will be the first, and the one who gets 'rice eggs'can resist
evils. Flags paper can also be cut to protect a boy. |
