| As the Lantern Festival coming, people in Liancheng will celebrate by going around the town in a parade. It is said the custom was pratised for against the flood and drought in ancient times. |

| Two brave boys will be selected to dress up as the traditional opera and bound on the "head stage" which weights about 200KG and is carried by 20 men. | Before the formal parade, the strong carriers should warm up on the mountain for two days, and then keep a fast for three days. | ||
