| Memorial Temple for Chen Jinggu |

| Mazu (Lin Moning) and Chen Jinggu had ever lived on the world instead
of the godness in folktale. During their lifetime, they were so kindhearted
that helped the local people a lot. As they passed away, they are all respected
as godness. One is for protecting the fisherman and sea work, the other
is for protecting the woman and child. Chen Jinggu, born in 908 in Fuzhou city and married a scholar at her age of 18. As her story was spread from mouth to mouth, she had been regarded as a fairy who againts the evil for people. So the more and more believers followed Jinggu, one by one temples for worshiping her were set up all over the southeast China. |
