The Lhoba nationality lives in the east of Tibet. As the fertilized earth, the enchanting Brahmaputra and the Danpa river nourish the area of Luoyu, which lies closely to the south of the Himalayas, the environment is joyful and spring all over a year. Fruits, vegetables and medicinal materials are abundant. Animals and beasts appear in the deep forests. The Lhoba people live on this rich ground for generations and they seldom contact the outside world.

Agriculture is the main yield, and the handicraft industry is not separated. They are skill at intertexture. When in slack season, they bring bamboo knitting to the neighbor cities to exchange tools, salt, clothes, food, tea and other necessities.

Hunting is another important economic activity. A man will learn to hunt when he is a child. When he grows up, he will go to hunt in the forests. The capture will be share in the whole village.

Cliff and barranca is everywhere. When ascending mountains, you will enter the cloud world; when descending, a valley is waiting. Narrow meandering footpath and scaling ladder is for come-and-go. But with the government care, wide roads are built to connect villages with villages and outside, and many tightwire hanging bridges are crossing over the rolling billow; the improving traffic has bring new aspect greatly to the Lhoba people.
