Peul Village in Mali

Bernard Descamps(France)

Peul is a village accompanied with endless crossed rivers and fields. The locals live in their huts and guard their herds which are regarded as important family wealth.
The herbage is shrivelled during the dry season and there is little food for cows. People are looking forward to the rainy season since their lives are given by water. But the river is not generous as before and the desert is close to them. The aged villagers record the dropping water level.
