Village of Qiang Nationality, the Living Fossil

The Qiangs are nomadic people who used to live in the west of China and named by Chinese ancient Hans. There is a TAOPING QIANG village located at Li country of SiChuan province in China, still keep the old customs of primitive village so far, an d be well known by the name: "the living fossil" for preserving completely of Qiangs architecture in the world.
1¡¢Most of stone houses of Qiangs are built at flat ground in the half of mountain, near by the source of water, and with two local carving house built by piling up stones tier upon tier.
Qiangs respect white stone, they gave it a popular name: "JiGong Stone", means the God of white stone, and it always be used for offering sacrifices to God on New Year's Day and holidays.
10¡¢Qiangs house usually get a good seal round window, it's useful for preventing cold and guarding against theft. The furnishing is simple and unsophisticated to make us recollect old days.
