| The water-bamboo all over the mountains and plains provide
plenty materials for the ancient way of making papers. The peasants cut
off the leaves of the water-bamboo into more than a meter long pole, which
they cut into small pieces, the wide of which is like the size of a finger.
After all these have been done, the pieces of the water-bamboo are bundled.
This course is called cutting-bamboo. |

| The bundles are dipped in the calcareousness, pressed
stones on, and that will last for almost three months. There is about 1,500
kilogramme in every pond. The dipped bundles will be sank in the rinsing
for a month after they are fished out and insolated in order to eliminate
the impurity of the lime. This course is called submerging-bamboo. |

yellow fluff, and are turned over constantly. That kind of work is very
baldness, hardship and dangerous, which need patient and carefulness. This
course is called smashing-bamboo, and it takes for almost three hours. |

piled up paper mould stand upright and tidily just like walls. Then the
paper-wall will be twisted out waters by a special machine. This course
is called cutting-paper-wall or paper-bank. |
