| The Easter procession of the 'Misteri' in Trapani/Sicily/begins
on Good Friday afternoon and lasts the next 24 hours. The heavy wooden statues
of the scenes of the Passion are carried along the streets of Trapani by
groups of 'Maestranze' (guilds). The march is moving slowly in the historic
part of the city accompanied by musicians who play sad and suggestive music. |
