This family folk
circus of eleven people was organized by Ravshan,
father, grandfather and uncle of the participants of the show more than ten
years ago. Before that he worked in the State Circus. Now they are going to
Saint Petersburg for the
whole summer season in their small bus and a car in order to earn their living.
They cover a one-way distance of 5.5 thousand km. They rent an accommodation
not far from the city: part of the house of the owners, a kind of a
summer-kitchen under the shed in the patio and another small log house.
They participate
in most of the cities summer festivals in different parts of the city. Their
performances date back to folk street festivals. During the performance they
all wear traditional costumes and invite the audience to the show with the
music of huge horns.
The youngest
member of the family is a 3-year-old Sarvarbek, who
started to walk along the rope at the age of two, highlight of the programme.
