The Fantasia is an annually held festival across Morocco, which is derived from ancient Berber culture. It is held to celebrate significant religious Muslim events. Men from all over the Atlas Mountains come to a town called Taza that is near the major city of F¨¦s to compete and show off their horsemanship and gun skills. They gallop their horses in a line across a plain and then stop all the horses at once and fire their ancient flintlock guns in the air which produces large plums of smoke. They do this all day until the days last minutes of sunlight.
